| The first annual Durham City
Retail Awards took place on Palace Green in November 2006 to
celebrate and champion the unique shopping experience that is
Durham City! Over 400 guests witnessed
some of Durham's most famous retail outlets and deserving staff
members as they collected specially commissioned awards in recognition
of their services. This year's Diamond Ball & City
of Durham Retail Awards will took place, once again on Palace Green surrounded by the splendour
of the Cathedral and Castle.
